# BuildPermitGuide

> Source-linked building-permit costs, requirements and application links for 50 U.S. cities, plus a dated, append-only archive of the official pages those facts come from — with a change log of what each jurisdiction altered and when.

Everything on the site is tied to an official building-department page or PDF. Nothing is estimated: where a jurisdiction does not publish a number, the site says so rather than guessing.

Rows carry `source_url`, `fetched_at`, `http_status`, `extractor_version`, `raw_key` and `confidence`. Values with confidence ≥ 0.7 are facts; lower values are signals (e.g. "the set of dollar amounts on the fee page changed") and are never presented as facts.
